The curved monitor Samsung C43J89 arrives in 32:10 format with 120 Hz

amsung today announced a monitor that stands out with just see it, no need to go to look at its features to surprise you, because its ultra panoramic format speaks for itself. We had passed through 21: 9 monitors, which already offered a clear difference from 16: 9 monitors, but this monitor reaches an aspect ratio of 32:10, which is equivalent to putting two monitors 16:10 together in the orientation habitual.

The new Samsung C43J89 reaches a resolution of 3840×1200 on a 43-inch VA panel with a 120 Hz refresh. Samsung has not specified whether this monitor supports G-Sync or FreeSync, so everything indicates that those 120 Hz will be fixed and there will be no way to regulate them to avoid the hateful tearing in video games, maybe because of this the monitor does not enter the gaming category. On the other hand, the curvature turns out to be 1800R, and it looks quite pronounced given the appearance of the monitor.

The panel covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut and has an illumination equivalent to 300 cd, which is not enough to get any real HDR specification. As connections, we have HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2 and 3.5 mm jack. The USB connectivity is outstanding, incorporating 2 USB-C, a USB-C on the top, 2 USB 2.0 on the bottom and a last USB 3.0 on the bottom also.

The price of the Samsung C43J89 is $ 900, available for booking currently. It is expected to start shipping later this year.
