DAEGU GARRISON — Are you ready to get into that bikini you bought at the beginning of the year? What about those promises made to lose weight and get into shape—how are they coming along? With summer just around the corner, that knock of consciousness about your body is becoming louder.

No problem. No fear. It’s not too late to get in shape.

Help is just around the corner at the Camp Henry Fit To Win Center. There, authorized I.D. cardholders can use state of the art fitness equipment that will allow them to have the kind of workout results any big name facility might offer. From weightlifting to resistance training, the fitness center is the ideal place for anyone with a focused and unshakeable determination to get into shape.

“Our fitness center is not only for the Soldiers, but also for their families, KATUSAs, DoD civilians, and even the Korean student interns assigned to USAG Daegu,” explained Ko, Sung-hwan, sports specialist at the Camp Henry Fitness Center. “The idea is to increase the efficiency of everybody working for the U.S. Army.”
From losing a couple of pounds to toning muscles, there’s something for everyone at the Camp Henry Fitness Center.

Equipped with treadmills and bicycles, there’s plenty of room for that aerobic exercise that helps the body not only reduce body fat, but also improve the cardio respiratory function.

Also at the fitness center is a section fully equipped with equipment aimed at strengthening muscles –abdominal, biceps, quadriceps, and more.

Having just completed a fierce workout, Rhiannon Acevedo had a word to share with the community about the Camp Henry Fitness Center.

“It’s really good for your health and well-being,” she said. “The center has great hours. So, this allows you to have a flexible schedule. There are so many amenities here. Since we have it available to us, I think it would be foolish not to use it.”
